New Operator? Never Attended the LCT Show? This Is Your Opportunity!
2012 International LCT Show Scholarship Program Open for Application
Business Development Opportunity Unlike Any Other Available to Ten Operators
The 2012 International LCT Show Scholarship Program, organized and funded by the National Limousine Association and LCT Magazine and designed to enable new operators to attend the industry’s leading annual convention on February 13-15 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, is now open.
Scholarship award provides a business development opportunity unlike any other for operators who have recently launched their companies. In addition to providing entry to all International LCT Show educational, exhibit and networking events, it features the occasion to be introduced personally to many of chauffeured transportation’s leaders including the officers and members of the NLA board of directors.
For the fifth successive year nominations for scholarships may be made in two ways: 1) by state/regional limousine associations (that are NLA association members) for their members and 2) by operators themselves who are located where no state/regional association (NLA association member or not) exists.
Ten scholarships may be made awarded in total: two for operators located in each U.S. region – Central, Northeast, Southeast and West, one for Canadian operators and one for International operators (those located in countries other than the United States and Canada).
To qualify for a 2012 International LCT Show Scholarship, the applicant must own a limousine company that has at least one vehicle and be in business for no more than five years. Limousine service must be the operator’s primary business. The operator may not have attended the LCT Las Vegas Show in any capacity previously.
Each scholarship recipient will receive: one full show registration, three paid hotel nights, one paid 2012 NLA membership (for recipients who are not currently members) and one paid yearlong subscription to LCT Magazine – more than a $1,000 total value.
Scholarship applications may be obtained from state/regional limousine associations and the NLA office (contact info@limo.org). All nominations are due to the NLA office by December 16, 2011. Recipients will be decided by the NLA Scholarship Committee, co-chaired by Robert Boroday (Prime Network Ground Transportation, Miami, Fla.) and Carrie Peele (Blue Diamond Limousines, Sedans & Buses, Raleigh, N.C.).
Nomination submission does not guarantee scholarship award.
