The NLA Charity Fundraising Committee is hard at work obtaining donations for the 2013 NLA Silent Auction which will take place during the NLA Wine Tasting (February 4) and the International LCT Show (February 5-7) in Las Vegas.
The NLA Silent Auction is one of the major fundraisers for the NLA’s philanthropic arm, the Harold Berkman Memorial Fund. In turn the Berkman Fund makes monetary contributions to several charitable causes each year on behalf of all NLA members. Past charities include Alliance for Lupus Research, American Cancer Society, City of Hope, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The scheduled donation, in memory of Tom Mazza, is due to be made to the Philabundance program in the coming weeks.
This year the committee is seeking specific items for the auction, see below:
• Technology items (iPhones; iPads; Apple TV; Apple accessory packs; Android products; Garmins; game systems; Kindles or other e-readers; cameras; video recorders; Bose headphones; cool gadgets from Sharper Image or Brookstone)
• City Package items (hotel, restaurant, airfare, sporting event, concert tickets, other entertainment passes)
• Jewelry
• Gift cards to online and big box retailers
• Collectibles & Autographed items
Please let us know if we may count on you by completing the donation pledge form and return it to darcie.benard@limo.org by January 15, 2013. Attribution to your company will be prominent in the pre-, onsite and post show promotions.
