What are the types and qualifications for membership?

Operator Member: Engaged in the chauffeured transportation business and has control of one or more motor vehicles, meets all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements with respect to the use of its driver(s) and such motor vehicle(s), and offers such driver(s) and motor vehicle(s) on a prearranged basis to the public for hire and travel over irregular routes.

Association Member: The designation “Association Member” shall apply to a group of chauffeured transportation business owners and/or operators consisting of a minimum of five (5) owners and/or operators who have so organized their association on a non-profit basis.

Allied Trade Member: The designation “Allied Trade Member” shall be distinguished and identified as two (2) separate groups. Those two (2) groups shall be 1) Allied Vendors and Dealers and 2) Manufacturers, Coachbuilders and Livery Networks

How much does it cost to join the NLA?

Operators (Based on fleet size):

1-5 Vehicles - $450
6-9 Vehicles - $560
10-19 Vehicles - $810
20-50 Vehicles - $1,360
51-100 Vehicles - $2,190
101+ Vehicles - $3,430
Suppliers - $1,130

Manufacturers/Coachbuilders/Networks - $2,280

Regional and State Associations of Limousine Company Owners - $800

How do I join the NLA?

There are 4 ways to join NLA:

1.    Online: click here. If you are a former member of the NLA wishing to rejoin the NLA, please do not use the online application. Instead, call (800) 652-7007.
2.  
  By Mail: Download and complete PDF application. Mail to: NLA, 49 South Maple Avenue, Marlton, NJ 08053

3. 
   By Fax: Download and complete PDF application. Fax to: (856) 596-2145

4. 
   By Phone: Call NLA Member Services at (800) 652-7007 and a Member Services Coordinator will be happy to assist with enrollment.


How long will it take to process my application?

If applicants apply online, their applications will be processed within 24 hours. If applicants apply by mail, fax and/or phone, applicants should allow 1-2 business days from receipt of application for processing.

Once applications are received and processed with payment, applicant’s company will be posted on ‘Pending NLA Members” page on NLA’s website. Applicants are accepted after 30 days of publication, provided there are no objections received in writing.

When does membership expire?

Annual dues are based on the calendar year (January 1 through December 31).

Please Note: After July 1, the annual dues are halved (for operator members only) and expire December 31 (e.g., for 1-5 vehicles, the amount would be $225.00 or one-half of $450.00). All members that join after July 1 will not be included in that year's NLA Directory of Members.

Will I receive a new member kit?

Yes, membership kits are mailed after 30 day pending period has ended. Membership kits include the NLA Directory of Members, NLA pins, NLA decal stickers and more.

How can I receive the NLA Logo to place on my website and marketing materials?

New members can download the NLA Logo that’s embedded in their “Welcome to the National Limousine Association” email that is sent at the end of their 30 day pending period.

How do I renew my membership?
  • Online: Members may renew online by logging in to their NLA account. Once logged in, next to the line that says “Renewal Due On” click on button that shows next year’s date.
  • By Mail: Complete and return the dues renewal invoice that was mailed to: NLA, 49 South Maple Avenue, Marlton, NJ 08053
  • By Fax: Complete and return the dues renewal invoice by fax (856) 596-2145
  • By phone: Contact Member Services at (800) 652-7007.

When making a check payment, include NLA member number in the memo line.

Where is my NLA Member ID?

Members may find their member ID number online by logging in to their NLA account. Once logged in, go to the “Membership” tab and scroll down to “Manage Profile”.  For additional help, contact Member Services at (800) 652-7007.


How do I update my profile/contact information?

Members can update their contact information online by logging in to their NLA account. Click on "Edit Profile" on the top left side.

As an NLA member, where can I go to voice a concern, suggest a policy change, or a new program?

The best way will be to email the NLA office at info@limo.org to have your questions, comments or concerns in writing. Once email is received an NLA staff member will contact you within 1-2 business days.

What are the industry events that I MUST attend?

International LCT Show

The International LCT Show is the biggest convention for limousine, charter and tour operators in the world. Set in Las Vegas, it is the ultimate destination for operators around the globe seeking education, product showcases and peer-to-peer networking. You will find no better place to grow your business and keep your fleet busy.

LCT-NLA Show East

LCT-NLA Show East offers the limousine industry a complete trade show marketplace, networking forum and educational lineup ideal for limousine operators nationwide and based on the East Coast.  

NLA Day on the Hill

The NLA Board of Directors, members, and dozens of industry leaders on Capitol Hill speak as one strong, unified voice representing the U.S. chauffeured transportation industry.

While the NLA’s professional team at Cornerstone Government Affairs is at work for livery operators every day, no one can get the ear of a U.S. Congressional leader better than his/her home state constituent.

Where can I view presentations from conferences & tradeshows that I’ve missed?

Members can view presentations by logging into their NLA account and then click on “LCT Show Presentations” under the “Resources” tab.

Publications

Are there any industry publications that I will be receiving with my membership?

Members may receive a free subscription to LCT Magazine, by opting in on member profile. Published by Bobit Business Media, LCT Magazine is the oldest and most established trade publication for the ground transportation industry in the world. LCT targets owners and senior managers of both Chauffeured Transportation companies and Charter/Tour bus businesses.

NLA Directory of Members, designed to serve members as a ready reference and a marketing resource.  Keep it close at hand, use it often and it will prove invaluable.

The directory lists all NLA members – operator, supplier/manufacturer and association – alphabetically by organization name.  It also provides three “Operator by Service Location” lists – U.S., Canada and International.  In addition, it includes contact information for the NLA Board of Directors and staff members, and the current NLA Bylaws.

A copy of this annual publication is included with NLA membership.

NLA Voice, a quarterly e-book that’s included as part of your NLA membership. NLA Voice links you to the limousine world, filled with short news bites and updates you on what’s happening in the industry, what’s new on the legislative front, what’s abuzz in the association, and what’s newsworthy with member companies.

NLA E-News, published on the first and third Tuesday of each month expressly for NLA members. In the same manner as NLA Voice, NLA E-News provides members with current news and insights on the industry and in the association.

NLA’s Presidents Message, a weekly e-newsletter published every Friday by the President of the NLA which consists of what the NLA is currently doing on its members' behalf

I already have the current NLA Directory of Members, how do I acquire another copy?

How can I submit an article or news release for one of NLA’s publications?

Members can submit all company news releases and articles to info@limo.org.

How can I obtain back issues of NLA’s publications?

NLA Voice is the only NLA publication that has archived issues. To view back issues members can log in to their NLA account and click on “NLA Voice Archive” under the “Resources” tab.
