The National Limousine Association has introduced a search tool to “connect users with chauffeured transportation member operators” globally, the association announced Monday at the Global Business Travel Association convention in Denver.
Dubbed NLARide, the platform—which is “mobile optimized” and accessible via desktop but is not an app—allows users to add origin and destination data, followed by vehicle type. Available types include sedans, motorcoaches, SUVs, shuttle buses, hybrids and electric vehicles, according to NLA. Users then receive a list of results and can contact suppliers through NLARide or directly via listed contact information to inquire about services and availability. NLARide does not process bookings.
Based on current booking trends, the NLA anticipates that administrative assistants will be the tool’s primary users, with individual business travelers secondary.
