The NLA and its government relations firm, Cornerstone Government Affairs, are working continuously to ensure that the livery segment of the transportation industry is included in any potential economic stimulus plans that Congress or the White House are developing.

The current posture of Congress is to offer targeted economic assistance in the form of Coronavirus testing, Unemployment Insurance, and assistance to workers who can’t work due to rules or quarantines associated with the virus. The situation is ever-evolving and Congress wants to absorb more information before they decide on whether to add the travel sector into that economic stimulus effort.

We will keep our members informed of any further developments. Additionally, the NLA has developed a resource page containing a Best Practices Guide that includes practical strategies that NLA members could implement into their companies. The page also includes important updates and informative articles. Access page and guide here:

The page will be updated as more information is available. If you have any ideas you would like to share for the benefit of the industry, please email and we will add them to the Best Practices document.
